Thermal fluid analysis of metal vapor is important because metal vapor generated during the High Energy Arcing Faults (HEAF) has significant thermal damage to its surroundings. In this study, a chemical reaction model of Cu vapor to CuO particles by oxidation was developed to investigate the effect of the thermal radiation and adopted to a thermal fluid analysis with Ansys Fluent.
