[2O13] Proposal of Regulatory Guide for MSR Severe Accident

The following companies, TTS, BERD, and MOSTECH, have collaborated with the International Thorium Molten Salt Forum to propose the draft of following regulatory guides (RG) for the safety assessment of molten salt reactors (MSR), which are (1) RG for Safety Design Review, and (2) RG for Safety Evaluation Review.
These RGs are aiming to apply for design basis accidents (DBAs).
Recently, we proposed the draft of RG for MSR severe accidents, which are beyond DBAs.
The background and content of this RG are explained.
This RG is based on investigation of current RG for MSR in USA and RG for LWR severe accidents in Japan, considering specific features of MSR.
