[2O16] Effect of hydrogen emissions from buildings during significant containment leaks in PWRs.
(2) Hydrogen diffusion and mixing analysis with detailed annulus shape
Keywords:PWR, Hydrogen, Significant containment leak
Sensitivity assessment with varying amounts of leakage and exhaust air is conducted with a simple model assumed to be homogeneous in the (1), on the other hand hydrogen distribution and behavior during exhaust is evaluated by the hydrogen diffusion and mixing analysis with detailed annulus shape in the (2).
Even if the high concentrated and large leakage which is significant in terms of mixing is assumed, the mixing is enhanced by flow induced by the leakage and hydrogen concentration is rapidly decreased with using air exhaust at the realistic timing.
