過酷事故時の原子炉格納容器、原子炉建屋内での核分裂生成物(FP)の3次元的な移行、拡散、沈着挙動を解析するため、アドバンスソフト(株)が開発したBAROCコードにFPエアロゾルの沈着、凝集、重力沈降、熱泳動などの詳細なFP挙動解析モデルを組み込んだ。次にFP挙動解析モデルの定量的な検証のためNSPP(Nuclear Safety Pilot Plant)エアロゾル実験を対象にBAROCコードを用いて検証解析を行い、試験結果と同等の結果が得られることを確認した。
