[2O22] Radiation Effects on Concrete Structure for Aging management
(4)Estimation of the Reference Values of Radiation Effects on Concrete Structure
Keywords:Material, Concrete, Radiation effect, Reference value
Among the aging managements for light water reactors, the effects of neutron irradiation on concrete structures which are difficult to replace were expected to vary depending on the type of aggregate used in the concrete.
Using the results of neutron irradiation experiments of the aggregates utilized on nuclear power plants in Japan and the evaluation results of a rigid-body spring model that can evaluate the radiation effects on concrete from the radiation effects of aggregates, a strength-degradation table was evaluated for each aggregate by neutron irradiation to concrete.
The reference values for radiation effects on concrete were estimated by the strength-degradation table.
