A spent fuel management option which directly reuses prismatic block type High Temperature Gas-cooled Reactor (HTGR) spent fuel for efficient fuel utilization in a once through burning cycle has been proposed; its effect on the neutronics performance and non-proliferation properties have been analysed in this research.
