Keywords:extract chromatography, the decomposition of adsorbent, Fenton reaction, ultra-violet rays, TEHDGA

We conducted an evaluation of the decomposition and stripping of extractant by Fenton reaction and ultra-violet rays for the stable treatment of TEHDGA impregnated adsorbents for the recovery of MA(III) and Ln(III) from high-level liquid waste. The Fenton reaction in a sulfuric acid environment resulted in the decomposition and stripping of the extractant, and the reaction with ultra-violet rays irradiation improved the decomposition performance of the adsorbent.
