In order to implement the decommissioning smoothly and steadly, not only the nuclear industry but also a wide range of stakeholders must cooperate to solve the issues that are barriers to the safe and rational implementation of the decommissioning. In this research, authors carried out feasibility studies about decommissioning business based on the mid- to long-term action plan for 1F decommissioning and examples of advanced sites in Japan and abroad.
