Keywords:Nuclear fission, Langevin model, nuclear TDDFT

We explore possible fission of 129Sn with nuclear TDDFT + Langevin framework and discovered that at excitation energy of 100 MeV, some low probability fission events are seen. We use 4-D Langevin equation together with 20 MeV damping energy in Ivanatyuk shell correction factor for the calculation leading to the fission event of 129Sn excited at 100 MeV. What we see is a symmetric peak in the fission yield with a broad contribution from asymmetric fission fragments as well. The average fission yield peaks at fragment mass of around 65u and the TKE averages around 65 MeV. We then verify the possibility of fission events with nuclear Time Dependent Density Functional calculation at equal or higher excitation energy.
