[3G07] Towards porosity-free additive manufacturing by optimizing laser rescanning technology based on MPS-DEM simulations

Rescanning the track in additive manufacturing is effective to reduce the porosity. The paper investigated the influence of laser powder, scanning length, and laser-beam shape in the rescanning technology based on MPS-DEM simulations. An optimized rescanning approach is proposed to completely discharge porosity.
