In the development of the irradiation target, the design study was carried out focusing on the capsule type target shape, and the feasibility of the irradiation target was confirmed. In the development of the Mo-99 supply process, the basic concept of the supply process to the RI manufacturers was examined based on the basic specification of the MoO3 irradiation target. To produce the high specific activity Mo-99, expensive MoO3 in which Mo -98 is concentrated is required. To reduce the supply cost, it is desirable to recover and reuse the Mo-98 from the waste Mo. Therefore, in the development of the Mo-98 recovery process, the basic concept of the recovery process of Mo-98 recovered from the RI manufacturers was examined.
