4. Evaluation of chemical reaction model in SA codes

Volatile iodine was prodused in the test using the TeRRA facility with temperature gradient tube to examine behavior of CsI vapor. This time the test analyses of this TeRRa test were done using the SAMPSON code with a chemical reaction model. The volatile iodine of HI and CsOH were calculated to be produced with a reaction between CsI and steam. Aerosols of CsOH was calculated to be formed and to be deposited on walls due to thermophoresis. The calculated results could explain the tendency of the experimental results.
