To examine recyclability of double-headed 2-pyrrolidone derivatives (L) employed in our advanced reprocessing method, NUMAP, we have attempted conversion of uranyl nitrate deposit bearing L to yellowcakes. As a result, addition of NH₃(aq) was most suitable for this purpose, where recovery yield of L was in >90%.
