Understanding for hydrogen isotopes migration behaviors in metals, in particular for processes of diffusion and storage, can be a benefit in estimating the fuel behaviors in fusion reactor. The phase transition can be induced in the hydrogen storage materials as diffusing hydrogen isotopes form chemical bonds. These phase transition also changes the diffusion characteristics in the materials, therefore each process couples to each other, and modeling of overall processes are interesting. In this study, the desorption behaviors of hydrogen isotopes implanted into pure vanadium was investigated.
