Since solid breeder materials are used in high-temperature environments, there is concern about lithium evaporation from the materials, resulting in a reduction of lithium content and consequent tritium production. In this study, lithium evaporation from Li2TiO3 + Li2ZrO3, an advanced solid tritium breeder, is quantified, and its dependence on temperature and water vapor concentration is investigated, and lithium evaporation in the blanket is discussed.
