MA recycling scenarios are examined for various nuclear fuel cycle options. A methodology to evaluate the MA material balance by introduction of advanced reactors in the nuclear fuel cycle is developed and added to the user-friendly Excel program which was developed to assess the environmental load of radioactive wastes for reprocessing, separation, and disposal options of spent nuclear fuel. It also aims to add and extend the functions for the back-end of nuclear fuel cycle to the IAEA NFCSS (Nuclear Fuel Cycle Simulation System).
