The results for the LOFT LP-FP-2 test, which simulates the early stage of core damage at severe accident (SA), and the Phebus FPT0 test, which simulates the late stage of fuel damage when a molten pool is formed, were examined with the SA analysis code MAAP5. It was confirmed that MAAP5 can simulate the fuel cladding temperatures of the LOFT LP-FP-2 and Phebus FPT0 tests with different core degradation conditions, different sizes of test sections, and different experimental times.
