[2L05] Start Up Core of Rotational Fuel Shuffling Breed-and-Burn Fast Reactor

Start up core of Breed-and-Burn Fast Reactor that employed rotational fuel shuffling was considered. In order to achieve criticality during the transient from start up to equilibrium, initial fuels were designed based on the infinite multiplication factor of each fuel assembly in the equilibrium core of the model. It was also found that by adjusting the shuffling interval during transient, it is possible to keep the maximum effective multiplication factor below 1.03 while maintaining criticality at all times.
