The mass number distribution of fission fragments of Md isotopes was obtained based on the 4D Langevin model. The total kinetic energy of symmetric and asymmetric fission modes when Md goes from a two-peak distribution to a one-peak distribution was examined to investigate the change in the fission mechanism of Md.
