[3I09] Extraction Behavior of Pd(II) from Aqueous Nitric Acid Solutions with Tridentate Pincer-type Extractants Showing Coordination Isomerism

We studied extraction behavior of Pd(II) from HNO₃(aq) under presence of a tridentate pincer-type extractant which may exhibit coordination isomerism. As a result, a unique Pd(II) complex was formed through the extraction after unexpected deprotonation from one of the amide N atoms.
