[3I10] Influence Examination of Coexistence Components on Adsorption Performance of Powder Adsorbent for Treatment of Contaminated Water at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station
Keywords:Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station, Adsorbent, α Nuclides, Water Treatment Equipment
As a technology for removing α nuclide that elutes in the cooling water at fuel debris retrieval of the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station, a batch type adsorption method which is adding powder adsorbent to the buffer tank of water treatment equipment was investigated. In this study, influence of coexistence components (sodium, calcium, magnesium) on the americium and europium adsorption amount of powder adsorbent (iron oxide) were obtained in test, and the adsorption mechanism and required adsorbent amount were investigated.
