[1M09] Development towards implementation and domestic deployment of economical SMR BWRX-300
(3) Effect of embedded depth in soil on vibration characteristics of reactor building and equipment
Keywords:BWRX-300, Embedded Depth, 3DFEM, Vibration characteristics
When the reactor building is deeply embedded, it is expected that the vibration characteristics of building and equipment change due to soil–structure interaction. The purpose of this study is to clarify the effect of embedded depth on the vibration characteristics of the reactor building and equipment in the containment vessel, for BWRX-300 SMR. Using coupled soil-building-equipment models, changes in vibration characteristics were confirmed under different soil properties and embedded depths. It was confirmed that in the case of deep embedment in hard soil, the area where the building is restrained by the soil becomes larger, and the vibration mode of the equipment also changes because of the constraint by the soil.
