[2C07] Recovery of U(VI) Precipitation from Organic Phase in PUREX-NUMAP Hybrid Reprocessing

Herein, we propose a hybrid reprocessing concept based on PUREX and NUMAP methods to reduce load in the current system and to avoid essential risk of Pu isolation. DHNRP was added to the n-dodecane phase after U(VI) extraction with TBP, followed by sonication. As a result, yellow precipitate consisting of [UO₂(NO₃)₂(DHNRP)]_n deposited with high recovery yield of U(VI).
