[2F08] Development of Educational Software for Practival Training to Simulate the Neutron Kinetics of the Kindai University Reactor
Keywords:Kindai University Reactor, Nuclear Reactor Practice, Educational Software
The Kindai University Reactor (UTR-KINKI) is a research reactor for education and training, and is used by many universities for training workshops for students. However, students have limited time to actually come to Kindai University and participate in practical training on site, and it is sometimes difficult for them to fully understand the content of the training. Therefore, in this study, learning software that can simulate the neutron kinetics of UTR-KINKI for training workshops was developed. The software reproduces the typical items of training, such as critical approach and rod worth measurement, and is expected to be used by students to deepen their understanding of the content of the training.
