[2H02] Characteristics of boron-coated straw detectors and its MC simulation

Boron-coated straw (BCS) detectors are now under consideration as one of new detectors for public beam lines at J-PARC MLF. The characteristics of BCS detectors such as count rate and position linearity ones have been measured and its MC simulation using PHITS was also carried out. The results will be presented at this meeting.
