[2I11] Development of a Fast Neutron Source Based on the 12C(d,n)13N Nuclear Reaction

We investigated the feasibility of a neutron source employing the 12C(d,n)13N reaction for nuclear data measurement in the neutron energy range from 0.5 to 1.5 MeV, where no neutron sources are currently available. The neutron flux and the energy distribution from the neutron source are simulated based on the beam parameters of the Tokyo Tech Pelletron accelerator. The feasibility of the designed neutron source will be discussed in the presentation.
