[3G15] Study of high-accuracy evaluation method for shear strength of joint section in segmented high-temperature superconducting magnet

The shear strength of joint section in segmented high-temperature superconducting magnet is important factor to determine its design feasibility. In this study, we newly introduced double-bridge joint configuration for high-accuracy evaluation method for shear strength of mechanical joint (solid phase diffusion bonding with indium) between REBCO high-temperature superconducting tapes. Then we evaluated relationship between joint resistance and shear strength at room temperature and liquid nitrogen temperature.
