This session was planned as an opportunity to share information on the background, purpose, content, and basic approach to safety assurance on the revision of the Atomic Energy Society of Japan standards related to low-level radioactive waste treatment and disposal (Inspection of L2& L3 Facilities, (Consecutive Controls of L1 Facilities, and Method of Safety Assessment of L1 Facilities). The issues to be addressed in this field over the next five years will also be explained.
