[3M01] An exact sharp-interface model based on particle method for accurate simulation of bubble breakup and coalescence

A novel exact sharp-interface model for gas-liquid two-phase flow is developed based on an advanced particle method. The gas and liquid phases are calculated separately, and surface tension is considered as a boundary condition. It is demonstrated that the developed model can predict more accurate interface breakup or coalescence than the conventional diffusive interface model.
