[41] Study on Background of Urban Function Induction Area Designation
Focusing on the relationship between Urban Function Induction Area and Zoning

This study targets local cities making Urban Facility Location Plan, and aims to clarify the background of designating the strict zoning area as Urban Function Induction Area, and to give suggestions to designate the area.
As a result of analysis and hearing survey of 8 case study cities based on the location of the facilities, we clarify that the reason why designating the strict zoning areas is that the facilities being able to located in those zoning are made as the guided facilities. In addition, there are cases where the strict zoning area is designated as Induction Area because the location could be used in the future.
Strict zoning areas should only be included in the induction area if there is a facility that can be used for wide area or if it is likely to be used in the future.
