Therefore, ensuring safety on residential streets remains as a significant issue. This study focused on driver’s behavioral standards in public situations and analyzed the relationship with the awareness of traffic safety during driving. Firstly, individuals were classified based on behavioral standards. Then, the characteristics of individual’s groups were clarified by analyzing the relation with the personal attributes, the experiences while driving, the awareness of the residential streets and the driving consciousness. Furthermore, for concerning the safety on the residential streets, the causal structural model was assumed by covariance structure analysis, which shows the connection towards the consciousness of driving with priority to pedestrians and bicycles.
