International symposium (9/15)
International symposium
We are organizing an International symposium at Daikanjin Temple on 15th September, 2023, following the general program. Deep, active and energetic discussions will be developed on the fundamental science of systems and materials in which the interface dominates structure and function (synthesis, preparation, characterization and application of interfaces, and understanding the mechanisms that bring about the functionalities). Please present your own research and share ideas at the historical venue in an intimate and relaxed environment.
The symposium is planned to be held as a hybrid event, but a "in-person" precipitation is preferred.
Venue:
Daikanjin Temple in Zenko-ji Temple (http://www.daikanjin.de/)One of Japan's most well-known sacred locations, the Buddhist temple houses the country's oldest Mihotoke statue. The temple was constructed in 644, following an imperial directive, and has a 1,400-year history.

If you register for the general program, free for attending the international symposium.Foreign participants will receive a discount (from 13,000 yen to 7,500 yen).

Other points:
1) The same (or similar) content as presented in the general program may be presented in the international symposium.2) If the number of presentations is too large, your presentation may be transferred to the general program.
3) You can apply for the “Oral Presentation Award for Young Scientist”, if you are a master- or doctoral-course student, or if you are 35 years old or younger (on 1st April, 2023). However, if you apply for review in the general program, you will not be subject to review in the international symposium. In addition, you will be invited to submit an article introducing your research to the division new letter “Colloid & Interface Communications”, if you win the award.
