As a secondary food processing activity rooted in local conditions, the production of pickles reflects regional characteristics, encompassing both cultural and geographical aspects. This study utilizes geographic information data to assess the authenticity and integrity of cultural landscapes by analyzing the transportation accessibility and land use changes of the landscape. We found that the surrounding environment of residents' living areas influences the cultural landscape based on traditional food processing practices. The adaptation and modifications made by local residents to the surrounding environment and traditional food processing activities can be seen as visible indicators of the authenticity of cultural landscapes.
