[R1P-19] Mineral collection of Kyushu University

Representative mineral collections in Kyushu University are "Ko collection" collected by Sokichi Ko (1869-1946), “Okamoto collection” collected by Yohachiro Okamoto (1876-1960) and “Yoshimura collection” collected by Toyofumi Yoshimura (1905-1990). “Ko collection” is composed of large crystals found in Japan, and its species number will be 160, about 1200 specimens. “Okamoto collection” is mainly composed of minerals in Fukuoka and Nagasaki Prefectures of 1200 specimens. “Yoshimura collection” is minerals and ores found in Japanese Manganese mines of 3200 specimens.
