[R2-04] How do silicon atoms diffuse in silicate liquids?

Mathematical-physical modeling of transportation phenomena in silicate liquids is important and challenging topic in physics, Earth science, metallurgy, and glass technology. In this study, I performed molecular dynamics simulations of sodium silicate liquids consist of approximately 10,000 particles. Adding to ordinary analysis methods, I analyzed detail of silicon diffusion using newly developed method. The silicon diffusion mechanism in silicate liquids will be discussed.
