In many geological settings, density of fluid inclusions has been studied for ascertaining the depth provenance of mantle xenolith. However, during laboratory experiments and exhumation processes, the initial density of a fluid inclusion is overwhelmed by various confounding factors. To elucidate the re-equilibration process of fluid inclusion, we investigated the relation among fluid density, inclusion size, and mineral species.
