Keywords:phillipsite, zeolites, boniniate

It is usually assumed that zeolites are formed by the decomposition of plagioclase. It has been reported that boninite does not contain plagioclase. Therefore, it is difficult to discuss the general formation process. In this study, we focus on the glassy part of boninite and discuss the formation process of zeolite from its chemical composition.
