[R2-01] Synthesis and single crystal structure analysis of pyrite-type PdSb₂.

Single crystals of PtSb₂ with several tens of microns in size were synthesized in evacuated silica glass tubes. The crystal structures of PdSb₂ [ a = 6.4659(2) Å, u=0.37331(3) z=4] were refined to R1=0.028 for 234 unique reflections. The obtained Debye temperature θ_D values for Pd and Sb are 258 K and 214 K, respectively.
