[R3-08] Pressure-induced phase transformation of CoSO₄·6H₂O (Moorhouseite) and determination of crystal structure of a new high-pressure phase

In this study, we focused on behaviors of CoSO₄ hydrates at high pressure. Based on results of powder X-ray diffraction, CoSO₄·6H₂O and CoSO₄·7H₂O transformed to the phase at high pressure. The crystal structure of high-pressure phase is determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. This result shows that the high-pressure phase is unreported CoSO₄·5H₂O.
