[R3P-04] Carbon isotope fractionation during the formation of Diamond from Stearic acid under HP-HT condition

We performed a series of high-pressure and high-temperature experiments using multi-anvil apparatus to investigate carbon isotope fractionation between solid carbon (Diamond / Graphite) and C-H-O fluid (mainly composed of CH₄ and H₂O) fluid as decomposition products of Stearic acid. We aim to indirectly estimate the carbon isotope fractionation by measuring the carbon isotopic composition of solid carbon produced during the decomposition of stearic acid.
