In this study, the molybdate adsorption data of ferrihydrite, goethite, amorphous aluminum oxide, gibbsite, δAl2O3, and anatase from previous studies were analyzed using the extended triple layer model (ETLM) of the surface complex model. In addition, a molybdenum adsorption experiment of δMnO2 was conducted, and the results were also analyzed. Adsorption data could be reproduced using the formation reaction of one outer-sphere complex and two inner-sphere complexes.
