The present study focuses on the verification of masonry constituent properties for analytical investigation of the in-plane cyclic behavior of brick infilled RC frames in AEM. The material properties were established and validated for bricks and mortars under restraining influence within masonry prisms. Consequently, the verified constituent properties were exploited to analyze single-story single-bay half-scaled bare and brick infilled RC frame models under in-plane increasing reverse cyclic load which showed substantially good agreement with the corresponding test results.
