鉄筋コンクリートラーメン高架橋の耐震補強工法のひとつとして，柱の隅角部に設置した支持材と補強鋼材で柱を補強する工法がある。この補強方法はせん断スパン比が比較的大きな柱を対象として，補強による耐震性能の向上が確認されている。しかし，せん断スパン比が1.0程度と小さい柱に対する補強効果については明らかにされていない。今回，せん断スパン比が1.0のRC柱試験体を用いて静的正負交番載荷試験を実施し，補強後の耐震性能について確認を行った。その結果，せん断スパン比が1.0程度の柱に対しても変形性能が向上することが確認された。
