ダイアモンドアンビルセルを用いた高温高圧合成法によって新規Cr-Ge系金属間化合物MoSi₂型CrGe₂の合成に成功した．この化合物について結晶構造の精密化，圧縮挙動の調査，電子構造の解析を行った．
