V/Al非化学量論組成をベースとしてVをTaで部分置換したFe₂V_1+x-yTa_yAl_1-x合金の熱電特性を評価し，その中で最もZTが高いFe₂V_0.98Ta_0.10Al_0.92についてHPT加工を施すことで熱伝導率低減による熱電性能の向上を図った
