窒化物半導体を基盤とした、高効率な赤色LEDの開発は次世代マイクロLEDディスプレイの実現に極めて重要である。本講演では、GaN:Euを用いた赤色LEDの現状と光出力の更なる増大に向けた取り組みを紹介する。
