磁性材料の特性向上において，MnPt系合金に着目した．Bの添加により軸長変化を試み，急冷凝固法によりMnPtB₁₀急冷薄帯を作製した．MnPtB₁₀母合金におけるMnPt₃相消失効果およびMnPt相における格子定数を評価した．
