パーシステントホモロジーに基づくトポロジカルデータ解析を用いてDP鋼板の走査電子顕微鏡（SEM）画像を定量化して説明変数を生成し、2相の体積分率を用いた引張強度や全伸びの回帰精度を大幅に改良した。
