浸炭、窒化は鋼の耐摩耗性を向上させるが、第一原理計算を用いて、BCC鉄中の炭素・窒素を含む二原子および三原子クラスターの相互作用エネルギーを調査し、原子サイズが相互作用に影響を与えることを明らかにした。
