General Presentations

The Award for the General Presentations

 If you have been nominated for any of the following awards, please do your best to win an award in the discussions too.

 
＜Oral Presentations＞
 ・Young Fellow Award  

  Young researchers under the age of 40 who made excellent presentations will win this Award. The award winners get 50,000 Yen as a supplementary prize. 

・RSC Advances Award

 Young researchers under the age of 40 have the right to apply for RSC Advances Award sponsored by Royal Society of Chemistry. Young researchers who made excellent presentations with an international influence will win this award. Award winners will have the right of one year free-access to one academic journal published by the Royal Society of Chemistry.

 ・Student Award

 Students who made excellent presentations will win this award. The award winners get a 10,000 Yen gift card as a supplementary prize. Students have the right to receive both the RSC Advanced Award and the Student Award in addition to Young Fellow Award.


＜Poster Presentations＞
 ・Poster Presentation Award  

  All poster presenters automatically become candidates of this award. The award winners get a commemorative gift. 

 

Abstract Submission
 Applicants for General Orel and Poster Presentations of the 61st Annual Meeting of the Japan Oil Chemists' Sciety are required to submit an abstract of the presentation at the meeting. Please prepare a page abstrac, using the template [General Presentations Abstract Template] and submit the PDF file on the [Submission Page]. The presentation topic should be related to the conference theme: A) Interfacial Science, B) Oil, Fat, & Lipid Chemistry, C) Organic and Petroleum Chemistry, D) Analytical Chemistry, E) Food & Feed Nutrition Chemistry, and F) Biochemistry & Biotechnology.

Select Lectures

The Award of the JOCS's Selected Lecture

Authors who go successfully through a selection process for Select Lectures win the Award of the JOCS's Selected Lecture. The authors get 30,000 Yen as a supplementary prize and no registration fee is required for the participation in the annual meeting. In addition, the authors have the right to submit a review or regular article related to the topic presented at the 61st Annual Meeting of JOCS for the Journal of Oleo Science free of charge. 
 

Abstract Submission
 Applicants of Select Lectures of the 61st Annual Meeting of the Japan Oil Chemists' Sciety are invited to submit an abstract of the lecture in the congress. Please prepare a three-page abstract, which includes your biographical information, using the template [Select Lecture Abstract Template] and submit the PDF file on the [Select Lecture Submission Page]. The presentation topic should be related to the conference theme: 1) Oleo materials and nanotechnologies, 2) Science on lipids, fats and oils, nutrition, health function and foods 3) Surfactant, detergent, cleaning and interface science.
